How does the RGB Critter Flashlight (torch) attach to the accessories like the Sol Saber?

The RGB Critter is a color-changing flashlight (torch) that threads at the lens. Accessories from the RGB Critter product line are also threaded. You attach them to the RGB Critter by twisting them into the front end of the RGB Critter. When the RGB Critter is turned on, it will light up the accessory that is attached.

What is the ORBIT BITWHIP Accessory?

The ORBIT BITWHIP Accessory is comprised of 140 or 220 end glow fibers that are cut at various lengths. These fibers are locked into a rotating bearing that is housed within our Universal Threaded Connector. It is most often used as a dance prop for performers.

The SOL SABER Accessory is our version of the lightsaber. The SOL SABER is incredibly bright and lightweight. It is impact resistant and is available in a variety of length options from 6 to 48 inches (15.25 cm to 122 cm).

How bright is the RGB Critter? Are the accessories visible with stage lighting? 

The RGB Critter emits a maximum of 170 lumens (color white). While the RGB Critter is significantly brighter than any competitor product, it's difficult to say whether or not the RGB Critter and its light-up accessories will be bright enough for your application.

How is the RGB Critter powered? 

The RGB Critter is powered by (1) 3100mAh 18650 battery that can be recharged via micro-USB or easily replaced with a fully charged battery. Only use the specific 18650 battery included with your order. Use of any other battery will void the RGB Critter warranty.

What kind of a charger does the RGB Critter include?

Each RGB Critter includes (1) 9-inch (23 cm) USB with a micro-USB charging cable. There is a built-in micro-USB charge port located on the back side of the RGB Critter.

How long does it take to fully charge the RGB Critter?

It will take approximately two hours to charge the RGB Critter via micro-USB plugged into a wall outlet, and it will take approximately five hours to charge using a laptop computer USB port.

I’ve been caught in the rain, is my Critter water-resistant?

Yes, The RGB Critter has a Standard IPX Rating of IP54 and can be used in the rain. It is splash-proof, and it’s resistant to sweat and dust. Do not fully submerge the RGB Critter in any liquid as it is NOT waterproof.
