How long does the battery last?

How durable are the fibers?

The fiber optics used for this product (Standard version) are high-grade 0.75mm end glow fiber optic cables and they are very durable and will withstand pretty much any movement you make in your costume.
We have been sourcing fiber optics from the same manufacturer for over 10 years now and our fiber optic products are widely considered the most durable on the market.
Sparkle Fibers show tiny twinkling lights along the length of the end glow fibers. They are more prone to breaking. Please be gentle with the Sparkle Fiber version of the Fiber Optic Costume Kit to avoid unwanted fiber breakage.

What are Sparkle fibers?

Standard and Sparkle Fiber utilize end-glow fiber optics, with Sparkle Fibers featuring tiny scratches for a 'sparkle' effect.
Both Standard and Sparkle fiber versions are made from end glow fiber optics which means the most light will show at the ends of the fiber optic cables.
Please note that our Sparkle Fibers are less durable and more prone to breakage.

It's difficult to say whether or not you need more than 1 Kit to create your costume.

Our best recommendation is to order 2 Kits and use the first one to make your costume. If you need the 2nd Kit, you can open and use that product.

Used this for a cosplay, honestly really great quality! Can’t wait to show it off!

ONE major thing missing.

Hi, I really really like my bitwhip. Its really well made and strong. The only thing that REALLY upset me to the point of me wanting to return it was not realising (not your fault but my own) it did not have a 360 swivel head. This makes the many fibers really hard to lightdance with. Not impossible but just not as enjoyable. Otherwise its a great whip. I will keep it and still use it but probably not to dance with, sadly.

Thanks for your feedback. The Fyber Kit is designed for customing purposes and for this reason we don't include a swivel head with this fiber optic bundle. We recommend taking a look at the BitWhip Package and BitWhip Accessories. All of these products are design for flow arts and include a built-in swivel bearing that allows your fibers to rotate.
