Q: Can I upgrade my RGB Critter 1.0 or 2.0 to work with the new app?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to upgrade older Critter versions to work with the new app, because they do not have the necessary hardware for Bluetooth compatibility.The new Ants on a Melon App is designed for use only with the RGB Critter BT.

Q: How bright is the RGB Critter?

All versions of the RGB Critter have a max lumen output of 170 lumens (using the color white), making it the brightest RGB LED flashlight available!

Q: Do I need an adaptor to connect your accessories to the RGB Critter?

All of our accessories are threaded and connect directly into the front of the RGB Critter. There is no need for any additional adaptors.

Q: Is the RGB Critter compatible with LPB tools?

You can connect Light Painting Brushes (LPB) tools to the RGB Critter using the Critter To LPB Adapter.

Q: How long will it take my order to ship?

Unless otherwise noted on our website, all orders ship within 1 business day.

Q: Can I buy your product in Europe or UK?

We currently only offer our products directly through our website.

Q: If I select the Express (overnight) shipping option will I receive my package tomorrow?

In order to receive your order by the next business day, you must place your order before 11 AM PST and select the Express Shipping option at checkout.

Unfortunately, we are unable to lower the listed value of any international package
We are required by law to list the exact price of your order on all international documents. Additionally, you are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods.
Additionally, Ants on a Melon cannot predict your country’s customs charges or fees.

What is your return policy?

What items are returnable?

Returns must be received within 14 days from the date of the receipt of your order to be eligible for a full refund (not including initial shipping). After 14 days, they are only eligible for store credit. Exchanges must be received within 30 days from receipt to be eligible for a full exchange.

Items must be in original condition and in the original packaging.
Fiber optic items must be clean and free of hair, dirt, or scent.

Are there any charges for returns?

We will cover the shipping cost for any domestic return if returned within 14 days of the receipt of the order.
After 14 days: The customer is responsible for the return shipping charges (unless the item is defective or incorrect).
Original shipping charges are only refundable if the item is defective or incorrect.
You may be responsible for restocking fees if the item is not returned in its original condition.
