Warranty Policy

We want you to enjoy your Ants on a Melon gear for years to come. Our products are designed for real-world flow, and our warranty is here to support you if something unexpected happens. If you ever run into an issue, we will help you get back to glowing as quickly as possible.

We have been proudly supporting Flow Artists and Light Painters since 2012, and we stand behind every product we make.

 

 



Warranty Policy

We want you to enjoy your Ants on a Melon gear for years to come. Our products are built for real-world flow, and our warranty is here to support you if something unexpected happens.

What Our Warranty Covers

Defects in Materials or Workmanship

Covers issues with electronic components and manufacturing across all products.

RGB Critter BT

  • 2-year warranty

  • Covers electronic failures and defects within normal use

  • Lifetime upgrade available at checkout

  • Does not cover physical damage to the body or housing

Accessory Products

Includes BitWhips, connectors, Sabers, and all saber accessories.

Lifetime Warranty

  • Accessories that break during normal use are replaced

  • BitWhips with fiber bundles that come loose from the housing are replaced for free

  • Broken individual fiber strands are normal wear and not covered

  • Damage to aluminum adapters is not covered

Note: The Orb accessory does not include a warranty.

Batteries

60-day warranty.

Using Your Gear in Real Flow

Drops and bumps are normal.
Electronic failures that occur within reasonable use are still covered.
Reasonable use includes regular spinning, flow movement, prop handling, and everyday operation that does not involve extreme force.

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Severe or intentional damage such as crushing, extreme bending, fire, or heat exposure

  • Physical damage to any part of the RGB Critter BT housing

  • Damage to aluminum adapters on accessories

  • Water, dust, or environmental exposure beyond intended use

  • Loss or theft

  • Natural decrease in battery capacity over time

  • Broken fiber optic strands (normal wear)

Special Coverage Notes

  • Saber Accessories: Lifetime Warranty on all saber accessories.

  • BitWhip Accessories: Fiber bundles that come loose from the housing are always replaced for free.

If you are unsure whether your issue is covered, contact us. Even if it falls outside the warranty terms, we may still be able to offer repair options for a small fee.

How to Start a Warranty Claim

Email support@antsonamelon.com with a description and photos or a short video.
We respond quickly and will walk you through the next steps.

Warranty Transfer Policy

Warranty coverage is tied to the original purchaser.

Warranty claims may be transferred within 60 days of the original delivery date if the new owner can provide proof of the original purchase.

After 60 days from delivery, the warranty becomes non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Shipping for Warranty Claims

  • First 60 days: we cover return postage

  • After 60 days: customers cover shipping to us
    All qualifying repairs or replacements are free.
    Most repairs are completed within 2 to 3 working days once we receive your item.
