Excellent Device

I bought this product for light painting, and it works very effectively. I plan to purchase some attachments to enhance its effects, and possibly another RGB Critter 2.0. I hope that AOAM will develop a device specifically designed for light painting that matches or exceeds the capabilities of a device like the Protomachines LED8, which is nearly impossible to obtain. It would be great to have a screen that allows for easier and more intuitive settings adjustments than the current three-button system. If AOAM creates such a device, I will be one of the first to purchase it. The Flex is a great tool that allows me to shape the lights in a very nice manner--this won't be the last accessory I will be purchasing for the Critter.

Easy to install, smooths the beam

While it doesn't extend the beam, it does help smooth out aberrations, I have not yet found a use for the flexible portion of the accessory, but it does also reduce the FOV partially so you can look at it from the side without glare.
