How does the RGB Critter BT Flashlight (torch) attach to the accessories?
The RGB Critter BT is an app-controlled color-changing flashlight (torch) that threads at the lens.
Accessories from the RGB Critter BT product line are also threaded.
You attach them to the RGB Critter BT by twisting them into the front end of the RGB Critter BT.
When the RGB Critter BT is turned on, it will light up the accessory that is attached.
How long does the battery last?
Color white = 2 hours
All other colors = 4-7 hours
What's the difference between the Fiber Optic Costume Kit and the BitWhip Products?
The BitWhip Accessory is comprised of 140, 200, or 300 end glow fibers within a rotating bearing. The fibers are cut at various lengths from 6 inches (15 cm) to 5.5 feet (168 cm).
The Fiber Optic Costume Kit does not include a bearing, and it is comprised of 360 end glow fibers that are all 6 feet (183 cm) in length.
How should I store my fibers?
End glow fiber optics have memory and will conform to whatever shape they are stored in.
We recommend storing your fibers loosely curled within a bag or hanging it straight down from the top of your closet door.
My fibers are curling or straightening too much. What can I do?
Your Fyber Kit may develop unwanted curls or straightened fibers.
If that's the case, then you'll want to adjust how your end glow fiber optic product is stored. This is because end glow fibers will conform to the shape that they are stored. If you want more curls, then store the fibers curled.
If you want straighter fibers, then hang the product from your closet door until the fibers straighten out.
DO NOT expose them to temperatures that cause the plastic to melt. This will deform the fibers and cause them to bend. If you do want to use heat to manipulate the fibers, use the heat source on a small sample size of the product. If you like the effect, then you can apply it to the rest of the fibers. Melting or bending fibers is not reversible.
How bright is the flashlight?
With a max brightness of 170 lumens, the RGB Critter Flashlights are the brightest color changing flashlights on the planet.
The package is a great way to save a little. The hive saber creates great textures and will definitely generate more combinations for light painting designs with my current AOAM collection!

I bought the rgb critter and whip package (220 standard fibers) and it costs more than other brands for a reason! Seriously top of the line, especially when combined with the app, an amazing feature. So much you can do! But I had a suggestion that could greatly improve the app for people wanting to put on intricate performances where the color modes change to match to a song without having to think about hitting the button while dancing. I made the suggestion via email and they actually replied within hours, saying that they liked the idea and would consider it for future updates, and informed me that they even have a schedule of updates that’s available for all to check out! Awesome people behind ants on a melon and I can already see the features are going to continuously get even better!
