The Critter Key V1 was designed to assist with removing and installing the End Cap and Battery Cap on the RGB Critter 1.0 and 2.0 Flashlights. 

The Critter Key V1 is not compatible with the RGB Critter BT Flashlight.

Legacy item?

I mean, it's only five bucks so I'm not the most peeved; but this used to be an item that could open up the back case of the earlier versions of critters. They don't even make those ends anymore, nor does it fit the critter connectors that I wanted to. It seems unusual that the solution for those is now "oh get a flathead screwdriver".
