BitWhip Sizes

140 Fibers → Best for beginner to intermediate flow artists. Lightweight, easy to control, less fatiguing, great for learning technique and clean shapes.


200 Fibers → Intermediate sweet spot. Balanced weight and fullness. Still very manageable, but more visually impactful. This is the most versatile option.


300 Fibers → Advanced. Heavier, thicker, and more physically demanding. Best for strong off-body flow, lacing, and powerful movement. Can feel overwhelming if you are not used to weight.

End Glow VS Sparkle Fiber

Choose between End Glow and Sparkle fiber types.

  • End Glow: Clean, focused light at the fiber tips.
  • Sparkle: Features tiny scratches along the fibers for a twinkling effect.

    Note: Sparkle fibers are more delicate and prone to breakage.

BitWhip Options

All BitWhip options use 0.75mm end glow fiber optics (tips glow) and include a built-in bearing for smooth 360-degree rotation.

The main difference between variants is fiber length and how the fibers are cut:

  • Standard
    5.5 ft long with fibers cut at varying lengths for a layered light trail effect.
  • Uncut
    All fibers are full length at 5.5 ft, offering a clean, uniform light trail.
  • Extra Long
    Fibers extend up to 7 ft in length (fiber length varies), creating longer, more dramatic light trails.

  • Batteries are covered for 60 days.

RETURNS

Free US returns. Your item just needs to reach us within 30 days of delivery.

To start a return, email support@antsonamelon.com and we will send a prepaid label with simple instructions. Once your label is issued, please ship the item back within 14 days.

International returns are accepted on the same 30-day basis, but return postage is the customer’s responsibility.

Returns must come back unused and undamaged, in the original packaging with all accessories. Try it out and make sure it is what you wanted - what we cannot take back is gear that has been flowed with, dropped, scuffed or modified, because we cannot sell it to the next person.

The one exception on eligibility is a custom order - anything made to your own specification, such as a saber cut to a length we do not stock - because those are built for one person and cannot be resold.

If something breaks in use, that is a warranty claim rather than a return, and there is no 30-day limit on it. Email us and we will repair or replace it.

We will ask what went wrong. Not to talk you out of it, but because we can often fix the problem faster than a return can.

WOW!! At first I wasn't sure what to do with the bitwhip, but then I decided to wrap it in a circle and hold it. I got these shots like that, and I think they turned out amazing! The magic you can catch on camera with this is insane! It has a wide field of motion so you can spend less time during your exposure getting that light painting coverage you need.

The whip also does a fantastic job of making your exposures look like they have a energy flowing through it! It really makes your artwork look mythical!!

i have always loved the quality of these whips though i have nothing to compare them to. once i learned about the importance of regular washing after outdoor use and the use of silicone lubricant, it only added to my joy in their use. on-body flow is very easy with proper lubrication and no longer feels like a major skill hurdle. I love having a few extra, its worth having a set that you guard with your life and another set that you are willing to hand to a stranger to try out. if you can afford it, the different fiber counts and lengths are definitely worth adding to your kits, each one feels unique,

Great whip! App is a bit limiting/wondering if flashing can be faster

The app could use a bit of updating, I'd love to take a look if yall want help haha I do software.

Was wondering if the critter is capable of cycling colors more quickly? It'd be nice to be able to replicate the persistence of vision effect another lightwhip brand has :) Would love to mess with y'all's app and try to replicate it haha.

Thanks for the great feedback and for the offer to help with the app — we appreciate it!

To answer your question: yes, you can increase the speed of any mode. When the RGB Critter BT is disconnected from the app, just hold the Arrow button to increase the speed of the mode you're currently viewing.

If you're using the app, head to the My Playlists section, tap the three white dots next to any mode, and select 'Edit Mode'. That will take you to the DIY page, where you can adjust the speed from 1–100%.

We don’t allow speeds higher than 100% because at that point, the LEDs would output constant light, which can look washed out and make effects hard to see.

Thought I was covered via 1 year warranty

Bought 2 RGB CRITTERS. One is fantastic the other one has not reached full charge since I purchased it.
I ONLY USE THE CHARGERS PROVIDED PER INSTRUCTIONS.

I went to request a warranty claim after my brother got out of the hospital and to my surprise my $500 purchase is not covered because I guess I did not register for my warranty in time. That would have been nice to know upon receiving the whips.

I am very disappointed with this product and how much I paid for and the lack of support I get for something that expensive.

I love the whip that works but am extremely frustrated I am unable to use my double whip like I wanted to. Terrible service.

There should be a noticeable in the box inside the shipment stating the 1 year warranty ONLY APPLIES IF YOU REGISTER IN 30 days.
