The same contact saber, balanced forward instead of back.
A 607 gram contact prop with its balance point about 61 cm (24 in) from the tip, right where the blade meets the handle. One hilt instead of two, and a bare Flow Cap Mount with no steel weight in it, so the balance sits roughly 10 cm further forward than the Contact Saber Kit and the whole prop is 304 grams lighter. It leads the turn instead of sitting in it, which is what you want for wheel plane and fast direction changes.

Which contact saber is for you
These are the same saber in two balance setups. This one carries less metal and costs less, so pick on how you want it to feel rather than on price.
The Contact Saber Kit parks mass at both ends and puts the balance point at the buttons. It turns slowly, damps wobble, and is the one to ride a roll on.
This Forward Balance build takes the steel weight out of the rear mount and drops one of the two hilt extensions. Less mass behind your hand pulls the balance forward to the tube adapter, and the prop loses 304 grams. It accelerates faster, it costs less to stop, and the lit end leads. Shorter handle, quicker hands.
What it is made of
The lit section is a 24 inch (61 cm) impact-resistant polycarbonate Sol Saber Tube running over an RGB Critter BT. The handle is the Critter's silicone body plus one Saber Hilt Extension in aircraft-grade aluminum. A clear Flow Cap goes on the blade tip and a black one on the rear, so the parts that meet the floor are the parts designed to.
The rear hardware is the Flow Cap Mount on its own: the same machined aluminum adapter the Counterweight System is built around, with an empty bore. The bore is the tuning knob. Slide a Contact Saber Weight in later and you have moved this build most of the way back toward the Contact Saber Kit.
It comes apart, and every part is one we sell
Nothing here is bonded or specific to this build. Every component threads, clamps or press-fits onto the same RGB Critter modular system, so you can change the blade length, swap the pattern, chain a second hilt, add rear weight, or move the light into a staff later. This is a starting point, not a sealed product.
