Specifications

Differences

Black: There is no light along the length of the fibers. The tips of the fibers will match the color of the RGB Critter LED. WARNING: The ink on the fibers of the Black Duster will bleed when wet, please use caution!

Salt & Pepper: Most of the fibers are black and will glow only on the tips, but some translucent fibers are mixed in.

White: The entire length of the fibers will match the color of the RGB Critter LED. The tips will be the brightest point of the fibers.

Pink: The length of the fibers will be a blend of pink/red and the color of the RGB Critter LED, while the tips will match the color of the RGB Critter LED.

Green: The length of the fibers will be a blend of green and the color of the RGB Critter LED, while the tips will match the color of the RGB Critter LED.

Blue: The length of the fibers will be a blend of blue and the color of the RGB Critter LED, while the tips will match the color of the RGB Critter LED.

WARRANTY

Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship, including electronics.

Warranty Coverage:

RETURNS

Free US returns. Your item just needs to reach us within 30 days of delivery.

To start a return, email support@antsonamelon.com and we will send a prepaid label with simple instructions. Once your label is issued, please ship the item back within 14 days.

International returns are accepted on the same 30-day basis, but return postage is the customer’s responsibility.

Returns must come back unused and undamaged, in the original packaging with all accessories. Try it out and make sure it is what you wanted - what we cannot take back is gear that has been flowed with, dropped, scuffed or modified, because we cannot sell it to the next person.

The one exception on eligibility is a custom order - anything made to your own specification, such as a saber cut to a length we do not stock - because those are built for one person and cannot be resold.

If something breaks in use, that is a warranty claim rather than a return, and there is no 30-day limit on it. Email us and we will repair or replace it.

We will ask what went wrong. Not to talk you out of it, but because we can often fix the problem faster than a return can.

Beautiful swirls!

I've been doing some light painting for a few years now but never had access to the array of accessories AOAM provides for the Critter 2.0. I purchased the fiber optic duster back in March of 2023 (currently August 2023) and the effects it has are incredible!

I found a light painted person that looked really cool so I tried to recreate it with my Critter 2.0 and the small acrylic writer and it came out awesome! I call it my "Mummy Man" photo. It needed more so I went back and added an arch over the seated man using the fiber optic duster and I really liked the effect. First time was with a single color and I love the swirls it creates. Next time I had the Critter set to cycle through the colors while creating the arch and the effect was spectacular!! I used the small acrylic writer on the Mummy Man part which was more effective than when I used a larger acrylic writer. Attached photo: red Mummy Man - bulb mode 231.3 secs, f/11, ISO 100, 14mm Rokinon Lens. Blue Mummy Man - bulb mode 104.1 secs, f/13, ISO 100, 28mm

Salt & Pepper - Durable and Beautiful

I have had fiber optic lamps and similar accessories from elsewhere, but this is much more durable on the fibers, and the salt and pepper design creates a neat hybrid aesthetic! Good for mood lighting on the critter when set to a slow pulse.
