Light Painting Demo Videos

Used this for a cosplay, honestly really great quality! Can’t wait to show it off!

After some initial issues with the battery retaining it's charge I can say I love the new Critter BT ( I have 2 x Critter 2s and thought they were good too!)
I can create custom colour pre sets to match my designs and the possibilities are endless.

I have been flowing with the bitwhip for 2 years now and lemme tell ya somthin’.. I have NEVER seen a more beautiful product!! They are absolutely killin’ with the products and I can’t wait to see what’s in store!!!🩷

Love the look and effect when moving it as well as seeing the pattern when you freeze it for just a moment. The size is great too for added flexibility.

This is a wonderfully bright and colorful light with plenty of attachments. The CRI must be pretty high as the light looks pure and bright. The lighted buttons and silicone casing make the light easy to see and use. The color selections are nearly endless and the controls on the app are easy to navigate and use. There are two design flaws that could be improved on. First, the battery cover has worked loose twice for no apparent reason, which shut the light off. Second, the threaded attachments, including the battery end cap, can be difficult to start. Altogether, a great light! I'm looking forward to the update, allowing the light to be used without the app. The photo was my first outdoor test using the Critter BT.

We ran across the RGB Critter BT while surfing videos for light painting. It was during the pre-launch/pre-sale for the RGB Critter. We were impressed with the array of attachments that can be used, and the videos/images already posted of the previous model(s).

We are totally blown away by this tool! The light is superbright, and lights the attachments quite well. The app is very intuitive (iOS version), with enough help on-line to find everything we needed. The light is every solid and well constructed. The accessories feel very durable and not flimsy at all. It's easy to see the team designed and built everything with the idea of light painting & flow specifically in mind, and that they've listened to their users on updates for this version.

We ordered an essentials package, so we ended up with a nice variety of accessories. We added a 2nd battery and a bit whip to round out things. Everything was well packaged, and communication was first rate. We've contacted AOM several times with questions, and have received very prompt service each time, usually within a day.

We were able to use our light right out of the box, and spent time playing with each accessory and watching videos of different techniques. We finally did a shoot with a skull and a flame look. We were super thrilled with how everything came out. We eventually plan to purchase another critter, and have several accessories on our wish list for birthdays, holidays, and such. Love our Critter!

I am so happy I went with AOAM lightwhip. The app was easy to use and the instructional videos are very helpful! I am so happy with this flow prop & the customer service! Everything has been wonderful & I have zero complaints. Im already planning on buying the two ended light saber before the end of the year! I can’t wait. Thank you!!!!!

I have the earlier version of the Critter, which I still love, but the Critter BT is such a wonderful improvement, in that it is so easy to customize colors, color patterns, strobe speed, brightness, and input different options (like turning off the lighted buttons for light painting). It allows you to be creative in a whole new way. I do have an iPhone, and the connection has worked well; I look forward to any tweaks in the interface going forward. In these images, it was connected to one of the Lumi Sabers, but it is also great to connect to tubes and other tools with different connectors. The charging is even easier now as well. Highly recommended to all light painters!!!

I was initially hesitant to try the Bluetooth critter, but it’s mainly the critter I use now!! I love how easy it is to control through the app and make your own colors and playlists. There is so much freedom for creation and customization, I am entirely in love with the Bluetooth critter!

I’ve followed along with AoM’s evolution for a very long time. From the very first flashlight they made, years ago, their tools have been the bread and butter for my light painting life. It’s amazing and exciting to see how far they’ve come in developing and leading the industry in innovation when it comes to light painting. I was stoked to use the RGB Critter when it came out, but now with the BT, the very few things I would have changed with the RGB Critter have been taken care of with the app connectivity. While I used the RGB Critter for all my light painting, it was difficult and inconvenient to flip through colors and modes, especially during an exposure. Now, I can easily and quickly flip through modes without eating into my exposure time or getting light bleed in my image. Also, the little things the app includes like custom modes and favorites playlists, as well as easily accessed special modes like strobe and momentary off buttons are amazing. I should add that I’m an AoM ambassador, but in my career I’ve had ambassador offers from multiple companies, and I’ve stuck with AoM because of great staff, a wonderful community, and most importantly to me, the best light painting tools on the market. Highly, highly recommend the BT!!🙌

I love how easy it is to create colors and your own playlists! That is my favorite feature on the rgb critters, and the Bluetooth just makes it easier. Since the flashlight is entirely app controlled, it’s easy to modify any settings (brightness, led buttons, etc.). I also appreciate how easy it was to connect the flashlight to the app. I do wish the flashlight could still be fully functional without the app.

I have 3 Critters in total, 2 "regular" and the Critter BT. When I tell you the Critter BT when paired with the App is a light painter's dream.....believe me!! The fact that while my regular Critters are still in heavy rotation, the ease of being able to setup custom playlists without having to remember the button combinations or having to have a printout handy is what set it apart and sold it for me. I don't have an iPhone, but I do have an iPad so I was able to get the IOS app and get started using it right away. I'm excited to see how the Android version works as well since that's what I normally use phone wise. One other noticeable change that I love, is the size of the flashlight, when I light paint I twirl and twist my wrist to create my pieces and my hand would hit the buttons on the regular critters...with the Critter BT, not so much!! Thanks to the AOAM team!!! You guys are the best!!!

A nice addition to my adapter collection. Not only does it fit tools from Light Painting Brushes, but also those tools from Denis Smith like the Lightflute. Very cool!
