RETURNS

Free US returns. Your item just needs to reach us within 30 days of delivery.

To start a return, email support@antsonamelon.com and we will send a prepaid label with simple instructions. Once your label is issued, please ship the item back within 14 days.

International returns are accepted on the same 30-day basis, but return postage is the customer’s responsibility.

Returns must come back unused and undamaged, in the original packaging with all accessories. Try it out and make sure it is what you wanted — what we cannot take back is gear that has been flowed with, dropped, scuffed or modified, because we cannot sell it to the next person.

The one exception on eligibility is a custom order — anything made to your own specification, such as a saber cut to a length we do not stock — because those are built for one person and cannot be resold.

If something breaks in use, that is a warranty claim rather than a return, and there is no 30-day limit on it. Email us and we will repair or replace it.

We will ask what went wrong. Not to talk you out of it, but because we can often fix the problem faster than a return can.

Absolutely fabulous

I received my Blade holder yesterday and it is great. I make all my own blades and the ease that i was able to use it with the Blade holder was great. Now i will change all my old blade to use in the Blade holder.

Good system!

This is a very easy adapter to use! I strongly recommend practicing setting it up with a blade a few times before going out to paint with it in the dark, just to get the mechanics down. Definitely bring your extra torch/lantern in case you drop the small parts!

This is flawless to use with the AOAM blades. I did test it out with a couple other brands as well as a homemade blade with zero problems. After a few blade changes, I knew which of the wedges I'd need for fit and could switch them out rather quickly.

The only issue I encountered was one of my other brand blades does not come as far into the holder due to a larger base design, which can obviously be the case depending on the blade. It still worked, but since it can't fit as close to the Critter lens, it won't carry the light the same. Just something to keep in mind for wider-based blades. You'll see what I mean in the attached video.

I would keep in mind that the small parts could be somewhat difficult for those with issues such as Arthritis in their hands. Not a deal-breaker by any means, just keep in mind to plan accordingly if this is you!

It's definitely great to be able to use other blades with the Critter! I also like this design a little better than the original AOAM blade design that was twist-on. For AOAM blades, I can switch it out much faster (after a bit of practice!)

The Blade holders are very good, but at 25 a piece it gets exspensive to put all your blades in one. On the other hand, it's kind of a burden to change blades in low light when in a light painting session. So I guess I will have to grin and bear it as there's not much else I can do.

Good idea copying the Kata from Patrick Rochon I mean it was kinda annoying how his version only fit one light brand. Oh wait I guess this is the same with only fitting one brand of light. Oh well I am still glad you totally copied him, I wonder if he is stoked on it though?
