Two lights, two short sabers, one Saber Chuck Connector between them. A pair of LED nunchucks, ready to spin out of the box.
Pattern: Sol is an even unbroken glow, Honeycomb a clean hexagon grid, Butterfly bold organic shapes, Stellar a subtle scatter of stars. Each handle takes its own pattern, so match them or mix two.
Each handle is an RGB Critter BT with a 6 inch saber tube on the front, so it's about a foot long, the usual nunchuck size. At the back, the Saber Chuck Connector swaps out each Critter's end cap for a machined aluminum cap, and 3 inches of 550 paracord join the two. The cord is knotted inside each cap, so the knot sits hidden in the aluminum and the pull runs straight down the middle of the handle.
Both lights run independently or together from the app, so the two handles can match, mirror or play off each other.

Materials and durability
Machined aluminum at both ends of the light, impact-resistant polycarbonate in the blade and 550 paracord between the handles.
Machined from solid and sandblasted black anodized, 25 g each. The cord’s knot sits hidden inside the aluminum, so the pull runs straight down the middle of the handle.
3 inches of black 550 paracord, rated around 250 kg, knotted into both caps and melted at the ends.
A grippy, impact-resistant silicone housing over the Critter’s aluminum body, so your hand sits on silicone, not bare metal.
Sandblasted and anodized. Two M4 stainless set screws lock the tube in, tightened with the hex key in the box.
Impact-resistant polycarbonate with a 3mm wall and minimal flex. Sol is diffused white; Honeycomb, Butterfly and Stellar use a clear tube. The tip thread is built into the tube itself, with no aluminum fittings.
The Twist-On Cap is threaded hard plastic, with a reflector underneath that aims the light back down the tube. Optional Silicone Saber Caps push on over it to protect the tube ends from drops and impact.

Unscrew the end cap from the back of each Critter and screw a connector cap on in its place. The cord’s knot sits hidden inside the aluminum.
The tube adapter twists on, the tube pushes into its socket, and two set screws lock it down with the hex key in the box.
The twist-on cap threads onto the far end of each tube. Each handle is about a foot long, the usual nunchuck size.

Modular by design
Every saber, staff and contact saber is built on the same RGB Critter BT Light Engine, threaded at both ends. Pick a build and watch it come apart.
RGB Critter BT Light Engine
On its own it is a color-changing flashlight. The end cap twists off to reveal the second thread, and that is where every build starts.
Saber Kit
Front: tube adapter, saber tube, twist-on cap and a clear Silicone Saber Cap over it. Back: the end cap moves onto a handle extension.
Contact Saber Kit
Same front as the saber. Back: a second handle extension and the counterweight kit with a black Silicone Saber Cap, so it balances for contact moves.
LED Staff Kit
Back: a second Critter, joined by the Critter Connector. Front: a saber tube on each end, each tipped with a clear Silicone Saber Cap, 23 to 83 inches overall.
