Honeycomb Modular Saber

The saber itself is awesome I love it, but it has some hardware design flaws that keep it from being amazing. I purchased 2 sabers to create a staff, the connector that connects the 2 sabers have very very thin threading. The first time I handled the connector it cut my hand as the threads are thin like paper so it gave me deep paper cut type cuts to my hand. The thin aluminum threads in the RGB Critter and the connector makes it very easy to cross thread. When I flow I like to split the staff Into two individual sabers to flow wit. But when upon trying to reconnect the 2 sabers the connector cross threaded into the rear of one of my RGB critter. Now the treads are destroyed so I can no longer connect the 2 to make it the staff again. The reason I purchased 2 was for the staff functionality. But now basic functionality of connecting the 2 RGB critters is made worse but going with a thin aluminum threading design that easily breaks. I did use a screw driver to drive in the RGB connector but that doesn’t work as well. The RGB connector doesn’t easily screw into the bottom of the RGB critter. So if you do purchase one you cannot disconnect and reconnect the RGB critters on the fly as you can cross thread the RGB critters now making useless or cut your hand on the treading. The need to carry a screw driver around while flowing isn’t very convenient. The warranty even the extended warranty I purchase won’t cover the damage so now I have a RGB critter I can’t connect to my other saber. Disappointed in a other wise awesome product, I get asked every event I attend about my staff as I’m DJ and I like to bring with me to every show I do. I was proud to show and support, but this design flaw makes it now hard to recommend. The RGB Critter is easily damaged by connecting and disconnecting 2 sabers. Just be aware of the issues I’ve experienced and take head to the warnings.

Love the look and effect when moving it as well as seeing the pattern when you freeze it for just a moment. The size is great too for added flexibility.
