Dianna DiNoble, Starkers Corsetry
It is. Dianna DiNoble of Starkers Corsetry lights her gowns with our fiber optics, with one small light hidden inside. Here's the kit she's building with, and how it works.
No soldering. Colors from your phone. Ships with everything you need to light up.
One Fiber Optic Costume Kit: the light, the fibers and the battery, ready to weave into whatever you're making.
Ships next business day. Free US returns on unused kits within 30 days.
Every fiber in a kit glows from its one light, so count the places you'll hide a light.
A headpiece, the shoulders, a skirt hem: plan a kit for each place a light will hide.
Measure from the hidden light to the farthest glowing tip, then pick 6, 8, 10 or 12 ft.
4 to 7 hours on colors, 2 hours on full white, and it recharges over USB-C.
Both glow brightest at the tips. Sparkle adds tiny scratches along each fiber, so it glitters the whole way down.
Clean points of light at every tip. The tougher of the two, so it's the one for anything you'll wear hard.
Glitter along the whole length. A little more delicate, so it's best on gowns and pieces that don't take knocks.
