These are the same playback functions as in the app: Autoplay plays each mode for the Mode Duration, Shuffle and Next/Previous skip around the playlist, and the playlist always loops.
Each streak is the mode drawn over time - what it looks like in a long-exposure shot. 20 modes come preloaded on the light, the free AntsOnMelon app adds 138 preset modes plus your own custom builds, and the light keeps your modes with or without the app.

One global dimmer every mode obeys - this slider is live on the blade (same control as the sun slider in the toolbar).
Button LEDs
The clear side buttons can glow with a slow rainbow fade and double as the battery gauge (red when low, through purple when full). Off here by default - flip it to see them live.
Analog modeSwitches the LED driver to smooth analog current - buttery, saturated light-painting trails. Standard PWM mode gives the crisp tracer flashes flow artists want on camera.
Lock buttons + momentary pressChild-lock the body buttons so a pocket press can't change your mode mid-set, lock the power button on its own, or run hold-to-light momentary mode.
And beyondName your Critter, group up to 10 lights, build playlists with autoplay and a Mode Duration timer, design your own modes (any effect, up to 24 colors), and update firmware over the air.
