The Flow Cap Mount is precision-machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and threads directly onto the rear of the RGB Critter BT or the Saber Hilt Extension. It adds structural length while creating a rugged rear mounting point built for high-motion spinning and contact-style use.
The included Flow Cap is made from high-strength silicone, providing a soft yet durable rear finish that helps protect the end of your build during drops and impacts. The cap pushes on and pulls off with a friction fit, locking into the mount using an internal rib-matching profile, creating a clean finished end without clips or exposed hardware. It does not twist on.
You may choose between a clear or black Flow Cap. The black version is the default selection unless otherwise specified.
At the core of this kit is the stainless steel counterweight insert. Stainless steel provides significantly greater mass than aluminum in the same footprint, increasing centrifugal force during spins. The added tail-end weight improves stability, smoothness, and control for contact saber and staff-style balance.
The weight has no threads. It slides into the mount's bore, and the mount's two preinstalled M4 x 3 set screws tighten down into a machined groove in the weight to lock it in place, forming a solid connection engineered for repeated performance use.
This kit is essential for flow artists building true contact sabers or balanced staff configurations within the RGB Critter modular system.

Locking it to the Saber Hilt Extension
The connecting screw, the PTFE shim and the 4mm Allen key that drives them are all in the box, and together they let you semi-permanently join the Flow Cap Mount to the Saber Hilt Extension.
The shim seats at the joint between the two parts, and the screw passes through the front of the mount into the hilt extension. Once it is tightened, the mount and the hilt extension will not unthread, rotate or work loose no matter how hard you spin. They stay joined until you take the screw back out with the 4mm Allen key.
Installing it is optional. Leave the screw out if you want to keep breaking the build down by hand, and put it in if you want a fixed, rattle-free rear end for contact and high-speed work.
