Saber Hilt Extension

Installation is simple. Remove the RGB Critter end cap and twist the Saber Hilt Extension directly onto the rear threads. The front end uses male threading to lock securely into the Critter, while the rear female thread allows you to connect additional extensions or other compatible accessories.

The added length and solid aluminum construction increase rear weight and improve balance, giving your saber a more realistic hilt feel and greater control during movement.

This part is a core structural component for building extended saber configurations powered by the RGB Critter.

Locking a Flow Cap Mount to this hilt

If a Flow Cap Mount goes on the rear of this hilt extension, on its own or as the Flow Cap Counterweight System or the Flow Cap Counterweight Kit, that one joint can be locked for good. Those boxes include a stainless connecting screw, a PTFE shim and the 4mm Allen key that drives them, so there is nothing extra to buy for this hilt.

The shim seats at the joint between the two parts, and the screw passes through the front of the mount into this hilt extension. Once it is tightened, the mount and the hilt extension will not unthread, rotate or work loose no matter how hard you spin. They stay joined until you take the screw back out with the 4mm Allen key.

Installing it is optional, and it changes nothing else about the build. Every other joint on this hilt still hand tightens and still comes apart by hand.
