Beyond Disappointed

I previously contacted the company in January about sound reactivity in their product which they said it had (Critter 2.0). They included a link in the email to the product. I purchased through the email link in March not knowing they updated to the Critter BT, they also forwarded the old link to the new product.
After receiving the product and asking how to enter sound reactive mode they informed me that the new version does not have it.
I am out of country so returning is expensive for a product that is not what I wanted. The customer support gave no other options other than returning it at my cost.

We looked into the order and saw that while our January email included a link to the RGB Critter 2.0 (which did have sound and movement reactive features), the product you ordered in March was actually the BitWhip, which includes the RGB Critter BT—a different model that doesn’t have that features.

We understand how this could’ve been confusing, especially with the link redirecting after the 2.0 was discontinued. Since you're outside the U.S., we offered a couple of options to help: a full refund with up to $15 USD toward return shipping, or a store credit if you decide to keep the product.
