Flame of Tongue Pro Blade

This blade is very durable, And I like how the etching interplays with the light!

The mouth and tongue of my serpent in this photo was made with this Flame of Tongue pro blade.

Thanks so much for the awesome feedback! We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying the durability and lighting effects of the Flame of Tongue Pro Blade. That serpent photo sounds incredible — love hearing how you're using the blade creatively. Keep up the amazing work!

Blades

I think Blades from AOAM are very functional, & give many Possibilities to create interesting Pictures.

Solar Flame

This is a great blade. I found if you move the blade slowly you get a cool effect I rather like a lot. Bright, crisp, and of course colorful! ;-)

Uchiwa Blade

I just got the critter and several tools and I am in love! I got this photo the first night out just messing around, I didn't even know what I was doing yet. :-)

Slugger Blade a brutal softness and texture, with the right size and perfectly manageable, allows you to fill large spaces with few strokes and even paint large spheres without any effort, as well as scare away any nocturnal animal if the moment requires it.

Freak Show madness

I had the Freak Show blade and used it for my abstracts, which worked well. However, somewhere along the line, I had the idea for something more "medusa-like" with my mannequin. The first tries didn't work, but then I tightened up the trails and got my winner. It not only shows the shape of the blade (something I LOVE to see in images) but also the color-rich trails. Cudos to Ants on a Melon for such a winning combination!

Awesome blade!

The feather blade works great! Because it has etching, it really shows up well in light painting photographs.

Thanks, James! We’re glad you’re enjoying the Feather Blade and that it’s working so well for your light painting shots!

Can’t wait to use

I have a larger on from a different company, and I know what results I get..
So it was a no brainer to purchase this..
Again haven’t tried it yet but will

This one blade I truly can’t wait to try at night!!
This unique and those who have designed put some thought in it….

Very nice

Any way to recreate flames is welcome, and the Flower Flames Blade is a good one. It's a little thicker than I thought it'd be, but it's a great addition to my light painting arsenal.

Thanks for the review! We're glad to hear the Flower Flames Blade has earned a spot in your light painting arsenal. It’s definitely a fun one for creating fiery effects. Let us know if you come up with any cool techniques using it — we’d love to see what you create!

Blade Only

I'm lovin' it.

It's a bit thicker than I thought it'd be, but that's alright. The test pictures came out great, so I've got some hot ideas on how to use the Primal Flames blade ( get it? ).

Blade + Holder Bundle

Great addition

It's a bit thicker than I thought it'd be, but I already have some great ideas for it. Test pictures came out great, so let the good times roll!

“Unpacking”…?

Any information about removing what appears to be protective paper?

Hi Alex, It's up to you whether or not you want to remove the protective paper from the Light Painting Blade - The paper will create a different lighting effect if left in place. The product pictures on the website show the Blades without the paper and most Light Painters opt to remove it before use.

Great Experience

Have been into light painting for quite a while, mainly with home made equipment. Recently I was lucky enough to have some “Me” money so I thought I would tackle the complicated system of ordering from the altar of light painting itself, Ants On A Melon. Turns out at there is nothing complicated at all, ordering could not have been easier. The products were despatched promptly and arrived in good time. Sadly (????) I had no need to speak to a customer representative, but I have no doubt that should I have needed to do so I would have been pleased.

I have no qualms about recommending this company to you.

Great Design!

The pro blades are very well designed. The extra thickness to these blades enables greater light output. The extra etching in the design catches the light really nicely making them pop more than the non pro versions. I can’t wait to try out more of your quality built products and I’m looking forward to seeing what designs you come up with next!

Hypnotic (Length: 13cm)

So much fun

It was really hard to work out perspective in which to use it but after long try and error night it is SSSOOOOO FREAKIIING COOOOL
