How the tubes go together
Both Sol Saber Tubes are bare tubes with no metal fittings on either end, so the adapters in this kit are what mount them and what carry anything else you add.
- Twist the RGB Critter Tube Adapter (Long) onto the front of the RGB Critter BT, push a tube into its socket and lock the two set screws.
- Clamp the Modular Saber Tube Adapter onto the far end. It adds an AOAM female thread there, so twist-on accessories can go on a plain tube.
- Twist the included plastic plug into that thread. It carries a reflector that sends light back down the tube, so the whole tube reads brighter.
- Or use the Modular Saber Tube Connector to join the 24 inch and the 12 inch end to end, and run them as one longer tube instead.
