The Modular Saber Tube Adapter clamps a 1-inch outer diameter tube at one end and gives you a female threaded connection at the other, so you can attach any compatible threaded Ants on a Melon accessory to the rear of your tube build.
Two stainless steel M5 set screws pinch the tube in place, and an Allen key is included. Fits 1" OD tubes.

Saber tube or light painting tube? Every AOAM saber tube is already threaded on the tip end, so the Saber Twist-On Cap goes straight on and this adapter is optional there, used to add a second threaded seat elsewhere in the build. Light painting tubes are unthreaded from 5 to 29 inch, so this adapter is what gives one of those a thread at all. The 36 inch light painting tube is already threaded at its free end and ships with a Saber Twist-On Cap of its own. That cap is the exception here: it mates only with a tube that has the thread built into the polycarbonate, so it does not screw into this adapter.
